Tipsy Who?
With eleven-thousand followers, The Tipsy Tomato mashes up psychology with gardening. Stroll through garden essays, webinars, and FB posts. Take your pick.
And, when Tipsy's not in her gardens with Tumbles, her giant orange gardencat, she is professionally known as Terry Ann Klee, a psychotherapist educated at Columbia University, with post-graduate training in psychoanalysis, neuroscience, and couples counseling.
tipsy AND smart.
The idea to plop psychology into the garden, playfully and intelligently, sprouted when Terry first tried sowing seeds for tomatoes. The seedlings were tipsy. They needed staking and tender care. And once staked, they grew to become nine feet tall—Reminding Terry of just how meaningful her profession is. (Yes, she has days of doubts.)
how we all need a bit of staking & support.
Not much later after this, tip-toeing in fussy heels across a grassy field holding a tonic in her left hand, Terry's hubby reached out to hold her right. He leaned in and "staked" her arm for her wishful sure-footedness and, in that moment, The Tipsy Tomato fully took root.
It's why The Tipsy Tomato's here.
It's all about heartwarming connection.
We grow best together.
So, whether you're in mud boots or Pretty Heels, Tipsy's glad you're here.
